The "Emerging Leaders" mentorship program—or EL for short—is a student-based initiative designed to enhance the overall Pepperdine experience for Full-time Graziadio students. ELs are a group of 15-20 second-year students selected by faculty. The EL program tries to set an example and enhance the student experience for the benefit of future students and to serve as a support network for administration, students, and MGBS. This includes providing resources like this website, holding dinners during orientation, and offering personal advice from class selection to job hunting tips to simply getting around in LA.
The heart of the EL program is the mentorship program, which works closely with the student recruitment staff and faculty to develop programs and activities designed to assist new students and help them transition into this MBA program. The mentors consist of members of the Emerging Leaders team, along with MGBS student body officers, and are each assigned a group of mentees to support as they settle into their first year at Pepperdine.
If you’re an incoming student who has not been assigned a mentor yet, or even a prospective student with a few questions about the program, email us and we’ll be glad to respond.
