National Conferences

National Conferences are a great way to network with people in your intended industry. You not only get a chance to learn about current trends and issues in the work place, but there are also plenty of intern and job opportunities available exclusively through these conferences. Be strategic in the conferences that you attend and be mindful of the dates. They all occur within the first month of classes so plan accordingly.

Scholarships are available to help cover the costs of attending these conferences. They will be made available by the career services office through GTO. You will be able to apply for a scholarship for each conference that you are planning to attend. If you receive a scholarship you will have to cover the costs upfront and then submit your receipts for reimbursment.
