By now you’re probably wondering what is Quant Camp? Don’t worry, this is not a label. But rather the camp is a great chance to brush up on some skills that will be used over the year… but more importantly a chance to meet some of your new classmates and professors.
Quant Camp is a great way to bond with a smaller group of students. It's also nice to know a few friendly faces on the first day of orientation.
Quant Camp is also a great place to interview professors. All three DESC professors will teach a portion of the class. The professors have very different teaching styles and while all are very good, you may have a preference for one. During Quant Camp, you are still able to change your schedule to select your preferred DESC professor.
